AIB's decision to apply charges to the ATM transactions of customers with less than €2500, indicates the initial moves towards a cashless society where we will have numbers -possibly on our wrists indicating the amount of credit we have in a central computer. To quote the Book of Revelations- 'those who do not have the number of the Beast will neither be able to buy or sell '. More to follow . . . I'll celebrate my blog launch with a glass of bubbly -
